Arab League is a regional organisation counting 22 Member States. Its main goal is to "draw closer the relations between Member States and coordinate collaboration between them, to safeguard their independence and sovereignty, and to consider in a general way the affairs and interests of the Arab countries". With Members such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, or Qatar, Arab League's summits gather individuals who are not only heads of powerful States but, at the same time, the top executives of huge state-owned corporations.

Tomer Banyan

My name is Tomer Banyan. I am 25 years old, and I am originally from Ramat Gan. After my service at the Armored Corps as a Tank Commander in the IDF, I have been in three delegations to the United States by the Jewish Agency as a counselor in a Jewish Camp. Currently, I am a Government student at the IDC university. I am the Academic Director of IDCMUN this year. I have always had a passion for international politics and the United Nations, specifically. I'm thrilled to start my first conference as a Vice-Chair to share and gain more experience. In my opinion, MUN is key to diplomacy. Everyone has an opportunity to study the country's policies and represent it as a delegate and fight for its agenda. I am sure the next international conference in Jerusalem will be not only an enriching experience but also an enjoyable one. Thank you for another great opportunity

Liel Eshet

Academic Advisor

Hello everyone, my name is Liel Eshet and I am 27 years old. Originally from France and made Aliyah in 2011. I am starting my third year in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies specializing in Foreign Policies at Ariel University. I have discovered Model UN last year and am forever grateful for this amazing adventure! This year I am excited to be part of the ARMUN society board. During my time in MUN I have learned that not only you are able to acquire diplomatic and negotiation skills, but you also encounter many people from every part of the globe and enjoy the opportunity to connect with them. One of my other passion apart of MUN is the underwater world and fell in love with scuba diving very early on. Anytime I travel I make sure to visit some amazing diving spots! I am looking forward to fun and productive debates. My advice is to be open-minded with a lot of ambition and don’t forget to have fun!  Hoping to see you soon!
